It would appear that the latest Space X presentation ruffled some feathers. A few days after Elon Musk talked on establishing human colonies on Mars by the early 2020’s, Boeing’s CEO Dennis Muilenburg boldly asserted that the first person to set foot on Mars will do so on a Boeing rocket. Well there Mr. Muilenburg, according to one retired US Marine, you’ve been beaten to the punch.

Seems to me that Boeing is looking to flex on good ol’ Elon, but alas, they’re a company of the past. Not that the past can’t be cool, it’s just that Space X has this new reinvigorated coolness factor to them.

I think Boeing are just looking for attention, too bad Leo signed up to go to Mars with Space X.

No matter what, these are interesting developments.

What a time to be alive!

Talking about going to Mars in just a few years. This just sounds wacky, and yet these are real life well established people talking about it. WOW.

Once we officially and publicly set foot on Mars, I wonder if how we think of people like that retired US Marine would change.
